We are e​xclusively focused on assisting and promoting small and mid-size manufacturers ​by providing a diverse portfolio of industry-specific benefits and services. WHERE WE BEGAN... In 1925, eight small to midsize manufacturers came together to address the need for cooperation and to better themselves through association with each other. This shared concern and mutual agreement laid the foundation for the Die, Tool, Special Machinery and Manufacturers Association, later to be named the Tool & Die Institute, and then the Tooling & Manufacturing Association, which is today the Technology & Manufacturing Association (TMA). ABOUT TMA OUR BENEFITS & SERVICES INCLUDE: COMMUNITY We provide mutual support and connection among our members and within the small and midsize manufacturing industry. INFORMATION We serve as a direct and indirect source of information and assistance to help members operate more successfully. TRAINING We help member train, educate, and certify their personnel at all levelsfrom entry to apprentice to owner/manager. RESOURCES We pool the purchasing power of our members in order to provide them with products and services that benefit their businesses.
